Starting at the historic Railway Tavern, a testament to Falkirk's industrial heritage, visitors can embark on a journey through this characterful central Scottish town. Behind the Wall, perhaps Falkirk's most famous venue, offers an eclectic mix of music, food, and drink across its multiple levels, while the traditional New Market Bar provides a glimpse into the town's market trading past. The Carron Works, named after the famous ironworks that once made Falkirk a powerhouse of manufacturing, provides a cosy spot for sampling Scottish ales, before moving on to the welcoming Wellington Bar.
Icons Sports Bar brings a contemporary touch to the crawl, while the Tolbooth Tavern, housed in one of Falkirk's oldest buildings, offers a perfect blend of history and hospitality. Continuing through the historic town centre, the Wheatsheaf Inn and Courtyard provide traditional Scottish pub atmospheres, before ending the evening at the friendly Woodside Inn, where locals gather to share stories of their town's rich history, from its role in the Wars of Independence to its industrial heyday.
