Famous Leeds crawl also called the Headingley Mile. An all dayer as known for the imaginative costumes participants wear. Have fun.

I explore several pubs in Leeds, each with unique atmospheres and histories. Starting at Wapentake, known for its Yorkshire breakfasts and community feel, I highlight establishments like Doghouse Bar & Bagel Shop, The Duck & Drake, and White Cloth Hall, with their charming blends of vintage and modern décor. The Tetley Pub, Grove Inn, and Northern Monk Refectory further showcase Leeds’ brewing heritage. Other notable mentions include Cross Keys, Midnight Bell, The Hop, Bundobust, and Tapped Leeds, which offer a mix of local beers and vibrant settings. Lastly, The Bankers Cat, Friends of Ham, The Brewery Tap, and Whitelock’s Ale House reflect the city’s rich pub culture and welcoming vibe. https://micropubadventures.co.uk/2025/06/21/21-06-25-leeds/

A pub crawl of great real ale pubs based on some of the favourite real ale pubs from the Real Ale Pubs In Yorkshire facebook group primarily in the Leeds city centre out to Burley. The crawl starts in the Griffin which is a stones throw from the train station, before moving onto Whitelock's Ale House before heading into the Holbeck are where three great real ale pubs are taken in. This crawl finishes at Dave's Pies & Ales which do some amazing local pies alongside some good ales.

I spent the day exploring Ilkley, starting at The Crescent and taking in its history and relaxed, welcoming feel. From there I made my way to Fuggle & Golding Tap House, then on to Bini Brew Co, where it was great to be so close to the brewing itself. Each stop offered something a little different, which kept the day interesting as I went along. The Flying Duck stood out for its cosy, traditional setting, before I continued on to Bar T’at and The Ilkley Tap, both ideal for settling in with a pint. I also stopped at Friends of Ham, which had a great atmosphere and plenty to enjoy. I then called into The Station Pub before finishing at The Ticket Office. With good beers, friendly chats and welcoming spaces throughout, it made for a full and really enjoyable day. https://micropubadventures.co.uk/2026/03/21/21-03-26-ilkley/

The route of all evil.
Close enough for a change of scene.
