The new 340 Bus route connecting Whitchurch,Market Drayton,Telford and Wellington in Shropshire

Just a "finishing Touches" Crawl to get to venues I wished to visit earlier on in the year in Wellington Shropshire

Wellington is an area of Telford that is well served for pubs and bars - many of them serving food too. It's an easy walk from the train station to all of these venues. The area is also well served with buses. To learn more about Wellington, take a look at this website - https://www.visitshropshirehills.co.uk/towns/wellington/

Take a walk along the river and take in the amazing views and historic Iron Bridge itself. Given their location, the majority of these venues are hotels or inns that have great food menus and fabulous views of the river. Many have large outside seating areas too. At the end of this walk you can cross the river over to Jackfield and take in a couple of nice bars there too.

Market Drayton, is charming market town nestled in north Shropshire that offers a delightful pub crawl through its historic streets. We start this tour at Joule's Brewery, where you can witness the centuries-old brewing tradition first-hand and sample their renowned ales crafted with care in this revived Victorian brewery (weekdays business hours only). Winding your way through the town's narrow streets, take in the Red Lion and Salopian Star, where locals gather to share stories in warm, timber-beamed rooms that have witnessed countless conversations over the centuries. Continuing on to the Crown and Hippodrome each with their own charm and character. The William Chester and Kings Arms offer their own unique charms, with traditional pub fare and local brews to sustain you. Each establishment maintains its own distinct personality while sharing in the town's rich heritage, creating an experience that feels authentically English - a blend of history, community, and well-kept ales served in surroundings that have barely changed in generations. Enjoy
You've seen it all! 🍻
Close enough for a change of scene.
