This is a great crawl for any away fan visiting Molineux and coming in from Wolverhampton station. There are very few pubs in Wolverhampton on match-days that allow away fans due to their strict pub policy so these pubs may be busy so be sure to get there early.

Starting at the Great Western, a stunning Victorian railway pub with its original etched windows and gleaming brass fittings, visitors begin their journey through Wolverhampton's historic pubs. The Hogshead and Royal London offer traditional Black Country hospitality before reaching the jewel in Wolverhampton's crown - the grade II listed Posada, with its stunning Victorian interior, ornate mirrors, and original servery dating back to 1890. The Lych Gate Tavern, another architectural gem with its black and white timber façade, offers a selection of real ales in a setting that hasn't changed much since the 19th century. Moving through the city, the Duke of York and historic Wheatsheaf provide authentic local atmospheres, while the Plough & Harrow maintains its traditional Black Country charm. The crawl continues to the beloved Combermere Arms, known for its well-kept ales and friendly welcome, before ending at the Chindit. Each establishment tells part of Wolverhampton's story, from its Victorian prosperity to its proud brewing traditions, creating a pub trail that showcases the best of Black Country hospitality.

The Great Western in Wolverhampton started out as an ale house back in 1849 and has seen quite the transformation thanks to railway growth. Now, it’s a Grade II-listed pub celebrated for its deep history and great cask ales. Other standout spots include The Lych Gate Tavern, which boasts beautiful Georgian architecture, and The Posada, a Victorian gem filled with original décor and historical importance. The Crown in Codsall, with over 180 years of history, has been revamped to blend modern vibes with its classic roots. Plus, micropubs like Hail to the Ale and Keg & Comfort bring their own unique flair and a variety of ales, making the pub scene in Wolverhampton and Codsall even more lively.
